3 Amazing Youtube Channels for Self Development
I am going to come clean with you… I do not enjoy reading. *Gasp*
Yes, it is true... For someone in my line of work, I am a bit of an odd duck because of this. Most of this dislike of reading stems from my ability to absorb information faster and more efficiently by other means. Watching and listening is my preferred method of learning new information. Compared to this method, reading feels inefficient and sluggish to me. Having said that, learning is one of my biggest passions so I have had to adapt.
If you are like me and prefer to learn by watching and listening, this post is for you. Even if you enjoy reading, It is very healthy to obtain new information in MANY different ways and from many different mediums.
This is a list of 3 of my favorite sources for learning new ideas and concepts around the topic of self-development and self-awareness.
The Art of Improvement
This channel is amazing for a few reasons but at the top of the list is the delivery of information. They accompany the dialogue with drawings and captions in order to hit as many learning styles as possible. This is MASSIVE for efficient information absorption and retention. The soothing british accent of the narrator helps too.

Leo has a podcast, a youtube channel, and a website with tons of content. He covers everything from self-improvement, to psychology, to raising your consciousness and emotional intelligence. His content ranges from super heady, to logical and research-backed. He presents all of this information in a very straightforward way and seems like a pretty cool guy to top it off.
